WHO?

Dawning Family Services is a Tampa based nonprofit organization changing lives by helping families with children who are touched by homelessness.  Our organization was established in 1981 as Alpha House of Tampa and expanded in 2018 to Dawning Family Services. WHAT?

Trunk or Treat provides a safe environment for the children and families we serve to experience "trick or treating".  Volunteers may register to be part of the event by decorating their vehicle for Halloween and passing out candy and treats to the kids we serve.  Volunteers may decorate their vehicles in fun themes and dress in costume, as well!  We ask each vehicle to provide enough candy for up to 50 children.  For photo examples of Trunk or Treat ideas, scroll down.
