Welcome to Dawning Family Services

At Dawning Family Services our mission is to embrace diverse families with children touched by housing instability or homelessness and support their transition to a safe and stable home.

With programs such as Family Homeless Prevention, Emergency Bridge Housing, Rapid Re-housing,

and Career Services, we are dedicated to providing wrap-around services for needy families.

Beginning as Alpha House of Tampa in 1981, we have been a dedicated partner to the Tampa community for over 40 years. In 2018, we expanded our services to help all diverse families who are facing homelessness, and with the addition of our Homeless Prevention Program in 2022, to help families that are at risk of becoming homeless.
